A must have primer for Affiliate Marketing Aug 24, 2010
A little more than a year ago, I had little-to-no knowledge about affiliate marketing. There seemed to be a lot of opportunity in this space, especially with technology companies who serve the performance marketing industry. I desperately needed a way to get up to speed on how the affiliate channel worked and the basic ins and outs. I came across this book which gave me everything I needed to know and more. The book is well written, easy to understand and truly provides practical and actionable information for Advertisers and Managers of Affiliate Programs. It is a must read for anyone wanting to better understand internet marketing and affiliate marketing.
A necessity for any affiliate program manager and merchant May 19, 2010
As a new affiliate manager I am grateful to Geno for writing this book. He showed me the best practices for managing a successful, ethical and profitable affiliate program. Affiliate Marketing is a huge industry and having Geno's book to help guide me is a necessity. I was floundering before I bought this book and now I'm not. Thank you Geno!
Very knowledgeable would be an understatement!! Apr 28, 2010
Geno Prussakov has demonstrated that he has a clear understanding of the Affiliate Marketing Industry and the various communities therein. His vast knowledge can take both the uninitiated and the well-honed and add to their skill set. I found this book to be helpful, knowledgeable, and consistent with the trends of the marketplace and having a "lay of the land" focus in terms of what is out there in the affiliate marketing culture yet taking care of those who may not know all the terms, concepts, brands, and possibilities that exist in this field.
I would definitely include, if not mandate, A Practical Guide to Affiliate Marketing as a primer for anyone wishing to begin and continue in an online advertising endeavor. Thank you, Geno!!

Super book for all Affiliate Managers - a "must-get" for doing it right Aug 15, 2009
Well-written and packed with comprehensive "in the trenches" experience, this book is excellent for anyone considering managing and running their own affiliate program.
What I like best about this book is Prussakov's focus on operational details and how to avoid major mistakes in running an affiliate program. The author does a superb job of detailing many easy-to-make mistakes I'd overlooked entirely; this book provides a comprehensive checklist of many innovative techniques for recruiting, training and retaining affiliates.
The business-building tips (and focus on treating affiliates fairly) are much appreciated, and this book goes beyond the basics, providing a wealth of knowledge. Highly recommended!
